Matthew is a Senior Consultant with OPDC.  Since 2007 he has been consulting with clients to help them gain the skills and organisational capacity they need to lead and manage successful business development programmes.  He is an experienced business change practitioner familiar with project management and business change methodology and research.  Matthew has consulted with major global and UK brands including Betfair, Camelot, Experian, MSAmlin, Medtronic, Prudential, RBS, Samsung and Talksport.

 

Prior to working as an independent consultant, Matthew led several marketing services companies for the Omnicom Network and spent time as European Chief Strategy Officer for one of Omnicom’s leading global businesses.

 

His extensive time at the coal face has informed Matthew’s perspective on leadership development.  His particular interests are in overcoming the challenges of applying theory to practice and in the value of grounding personal development in the specific business issues being faced.

 

Outside of work, Matthew enjoys music, films and many sports including road cycling, trail running and skiing.

 

Matthew holds an MSc (with Distinction) from Bristol University in Change, Strategy and Leadership.
