Joy Kearney is a Senior Consultant in OPDC.

Joy has led leadership development engagements for major organisations including: Allied Irish Bank; Alfa Laval; British Aerospace; Commerzbank; Hewlett Packard; Institute of Directors; Logica; Nutricia; and, Ultra Electronics.

Joy  has co-designed many of OPDC’s programmes, including the IOD’s negotiation course.  She has trained most of OPDC’s consultants in the delivery of programmes, has been the coach for the OPDC team, and has had responsibility for quality control and for updating programmes in the light of new research.  She also provides Executive Coaching to individual Directors.

Joy was born in Singapore and has worked in countries across Asia-Pacific, Africa, Europe and the US.  She has also run workshops for over 20 nationalities and takes a special interest in cross-cultural differences. This breadth of experience enables Joy to be particularly skilled in analysing the strands and underlying needs in difficult negotiations.
